HoneyBoost Ingredients: Seven Lines, Each With Its Amount
HoneyBoost ingredients are seven printed lines per 4.2 g gummy: zinc 2.5 mg, tongkat ali root extract 25 mg, and 10 mg each of maca, horny goat weed, damiana, mucuna and L-arginine. The six non-zinc lines add up to 75 mg, about 1.8% of the gummy. No proprietary blend hides any amount.

The list
What are the ingredients in HoneyBoost?
HoneyBoost lists zinc (as zinc gluconate) 2.5 mg, maca root extract 10 mg, horny goat weed extract 10 mg, damiana leaf extract 10 mg, tongkat ali root extract 25 mg, mucuna seed extract 10 mg and L-arginine 10 mg per gummy.
That is the label order. Each plant line prints an extract ratio such as 100:1. Mucuna prints a standard instead: 98% L-DOPA, which is 9.8 mg of its 10 mg. Only zinc has a Daily Value (23%). For the other six, the Daily Value is not established.
The group split is simple: one mineral, one amino acid and five plant extracts.

Seven profiles
What does each HoneyBoost ingredient do?
The label does not say what any line does. Studies of single ingredients exist, but they tested larger amounts, and none tested this formula.
Open a card for the amount, the plant, the studied dose and the cautions. The photos are brand stock images of the plant or metal, not proof of what is in the gummy.

Tongkat ali
Is there tongkat ali in HoneyBoost, and how much?
Yes. The label lists tongkat ali (Eurycoma longifolia) root extract 100:1 at 25 mg per gummy. It is the largest plant line on the panel.
The “equivalent to 2,500 mg” note is the root used to make the extract. The gummy holds 25 mg. A one-month open study used 200 mg a day of a standardized extract (Tambi 2012, Tongkat Ali 200 mg and late-onset hypogonadism), which is 8 times the label amount. LiverTox rates tongkat ali a possible rare cause of liver injury and says product strength is not standardized (LiverTox, Tongkat Ali).

Maca and zinc
What are the maca and zinc lines in HoneyBoost?
The maca line is 10 mg of a 10:1 root extract, equal to 100 mg of root. The zinc line is 2.5 mg of zinc gluconate, 23% of the 11 mg Daily Value.
A 12-week trial gave healthy men 1,500 or 3,000 mg of maca a day. Self-rated desire rose and testosterone did not change (Gonzales 2002, Maca, desire and testosterone). The label's root equivalent is at least 15 times lower.
Zinc is an essential mineral. The NIH fact sheet makes no link between zinc and testosterone or sexual function (NIH ODS, Zinc). See the maca page and the zinc page.

What are the other ingredients in HoneyBoost?
Other ingredients: sugar, corn syrup, water, pectin, citric acid, natural flavor, guar gum, tapioca starch, sodium citrate and artificial color. The list has no honey, only “Honey Flavor” on the front.
Three details matter. The label says “Lab Tested, No Artificial Additives” and also lists artificial color. We print both. The seller's FAQ page names ashwagandha and L-arginine HCl, and the label prints neither. And the label warns of peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, soy and milk in the same facility.

Amounts vs studies
How do the HoneyBoost ingredient amounts compare with studies?
Every line with a studied amount sits far below it. The table sets the printed amount next to the amount a study or authority used.
| Line | On the label | Studied or reference amount | Gap |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tongkat ali | 25 mg extract | 200 mg a day, 1 month, 76 men (Tambi 2012, Tongkat Ali 200 mg and late-onset hypogonadism) | 8 times below |
| Maca | 100 mg root equivalent | 1,500 to 3,000 mg a day, 12 weeks (Gonzales 2002, Maca, desire and testosterone) | At least 15 times below |
| L-arginine | 10 mg | 1,500 to 5,000 mg a day in men with mild to moderate ED (Rhim 2019, Arginine for ED (meta-analysis)) | At least 150 times below |
| Mucuna | 9.8 mg L-DOPA | 5 g seed powder a day, about 200 to 300 mg L-dopa (Shukla 2010, Mucuna and semen quality (5 g a day)) | At least 20 times below |
| Horny goat weed | 10 mg extract | 250 or 500 mg products (LiverTox, Horny goat weed) | Roughly 25 to 50 times below |
| Damiana | 10 mg extract | No study dose in our sources | No comparison |
| Zinc | 2.5 mg | RDA 11 mg, upper limit 40 mg (NIH ODS, Zinc) | 23% of the Daily Value |
A studied amount shows what was tested, not what works for you. Ask a doctor or pharmacist first if you take levodopa, an MAO inhibitor, nitrates, or blood pressure or diabetes medicine. The label says not to use it with other medications or a medical condition. Chest pain: call 911 (CDC, Heart attack signs).
FAQ
HoneyBoost questions people ask
What are the main ingredients in HoneyBoost gummies?
The main plant line is tongkat ali root extract at 25 mg. The others are zinc 2.5 mg, and maca, horny goat weed, damiana, mucuna and L-arginine at 10 mg each. The rest of the 4.2 g gummy is mostly sugar and syrup.
Does HoneyBoost contain ashwagandha?
The label prints no ashwagandha. The seller's FAQ page names it among seven actives, which conflicts with the label. The label wins, so check your own bottle before you rely on any list.
What form of zinc is in HoneyBoost?
The label says zinc as zinc gluconate, 2.5 mg per gummy, which is 23% of the Daily Value. Gluconate is a salt of zinc. The metal pieces in the zinc stock photo are not the form in the gummy.
Is the mucuna in HoneyBoost the same as levodopa?
No, but it carries the same active part. The label gives 10 mg of mucuna extract standardized to 98% L-DOPA (9.8 mg). Anyone on levodopa medicine should ask a doctor or pharmacist before using it.
Does HoneyBoost have a proprietary blend?
No. Each of the seven lines prints its own amount, so you can read the numbers. The catch is size: the six lines other than zinc add up to 75 mg, about 1.8% of the gummy.
Which HoneyBoost ingredient has the most research?
Tongkat ali has the most human trials, including a 2022 meta-analysis of five. Those trials used other extracts and doses, and none tested HoneyBoost. Studies of the other lines are smaller or limited.
