The study

What did the mucuna pruriens fertility study find?

Sixty infertile men under psychological stress took 5 g of mucuna seed powder a day for 3 months. They were compared with 60 healthy men (Shukla 2010, Mucuna and semen quality (5 g a day)).

In the treated men, stress markers, sperm count and motility improved. The treated men had no placebo group, so we cannot tell what caused the change.

The outcomes were semen results. The study did not measure erections or testosterone, so it says nothing on those.
